Home Learning Packs – P4WN 25.5.20 Week 7
Hello P4WN and welcome to Week 7 of Term 4.
We had another successful Team meeting with many of you talking about your successes and achievements. It was very interesting and enjoyable! It’s lovely to hear from you and for you to catch up with friends. This week’s meeting is on Wednesday at 10 am when we will be playing times table bingo! You will need paper and a pencil so you can draw your bingo board and it would be a good idea to do this beforehand. We will play a few games so you could draw a few boards!
Numeracy/Maths
- We are carrying on practising some data and analysis (graphs, charts, questionnaires, surveys) this week so there will be no new Sumdog challenge but you can still play the games. Active Maths is a great way to practise too.
- The activity this week is to practise Carroll and Venn diagrams which are both different ways to record information (last week was tally marks and block graphs). You can watch the videos below to remind you about these.

Starry-Eyed Stan Sea Creature Sorting
- Finally you can use either a Venn or Carroll diagram (or do both!) and record some information on it. You can draw them or use one of the templates below. You can choose anything to sort: sweets, fruit, toys, numbers in tables – you choose!

Health and Wellbeing
TRAVEL TO TOKYO CHALLENGE
Follow the link below to Miss McNab’s page on the school website main page to find out more and how to join in!
Health Week
Our annual health week will be a bit different this year – it’s going to be 2 weeks for a start! There is a separate section on the main page of the school website which will give you more ideas/information about what’s coming up.
Rights Respecting School (RRS)
We are focusing on an article each week and this week’s is:
Article 12 – Respect for the views of the child: Every child has the right to express their views, feelings and wishes in all matters affecting them, and to have their views considered and taken seriously.
- This week you could find out about a child or young person who made sure their voice was heard. You could choose Malala Yousafzai or Greta Thunberg or see if you can find out about somebody less well known. You could make a poster showing the issues they have been interested in or you could choose a subject that is important to you and do that instead.
Have a great week!
