Sponcerd Walk

On the 4th of June the pupils of Inveravon walked from Cragganmore to Blacksboat and back. This was a Sponsored walk to raise money for their school trip for the end of term.

Colin Roberson their bus driver drove them to Cragganmore. The teachers and family members were waiting for them there. The adults gave the children some juice to drink because it was a nice sunny day.

The excited children set off on their 5 mile walk. Along the way they saw lambs, cows and grass snakes. The adults kept the children away from the snakes in case they got bitten.

The adults and children stopped at Blacksboat for a rest and a drink. More parents joined them with their dogs.

They set of again on their way back to Cragganmore. Lots of children were tired but they got back.

When they got on the bus to go back to school Aaron Rogers said, ‘’ I wouldn’t like to do that again because I was tired.’’

The pupils raised over £200 so they will get their school trip at the end of term.
