On Thursday the 28th February the pupils of Inveravon Primary School held a Coffee Morning in aid of Micro – Tyco which is a charity that gives people less fortunate than us a chance to start a business.

We had a raffle stall, a bottle stall, guess the birthday, a jumble stall and a food stall. We were all responsible for the different stalls. There was a creche for any younger children that came along.

A lot of our community turned up for our event and we were very grateful for their support.

After we tidied up we counted the money. We learned to start with the notes first and then the coins with the largest amount . Including our Bring and Buy Sale and Obstacle- othon we raised £350.06.

As a class we have had great fun with this challenge and we have learned leadership skills,entrepreneural skills, team work, creative skills, discussion skills and ICT skills.
