Lending Library

Our Nursey, Primary 1 & 2/1 classes have set up a lending library which allows children to borrow books each week to share at home with their families. This helps children grow a love for reading which we hope lasts them a lifetime.

Reading for Pleasure Project

Our Primary 3 class will be undertaking a reading for Pleasure project run by the Attainment Challenge librarian in January 2021. We are very excited to see where this learning takes us.

Culture of Writing

Our children are given daily opportunities to develop their skills as writers. This begins from their very earliest experience at nursery where they are encouraged to build fine motor skills and mark make right through to Primary 7 where they are encouraged to write for a wide variety of real life experiences.
