SSERC: Support for Practical Activities in Higher and Advanced Higher Physics
We have combined resources from our very well received “advanced higher on a budget” and “advanced higher physics experiments” sessions to form a 2-day “Support for Practical Activities in Higher and Advanced Higher Physics” course. Additional experiments and techniques will again be added for 2025. The course will be extremely beneficial to those new to teaching higher and advanced higher physics. All activities will be linked to the ‘mandatory content’
SSERC: Biology SSERC Meet – Advanced Higher Biology Projects
The aim of this short, online meeting is to reflect on learnings from the 2023-24 session, during which the Project course assessment task for Advanced Higher Biology returned. A new SSERC resource will be shared during the meeting and we will hear reflections from teachers who delivered the Project with learners last session, as well as from SQA markers. The session will be relatively informal and invites participation from anybody
