SSERC: Nat 5 Practical Electronics
This course is designed to support teachers teaching the SQA Nat 5 practical electronics course. The course will be extremely beneficial to those new to teaching practical electronics. Over two days we will have presentations and activities that will cover: Analysis and design of the problem Designing and simulating a solution Logic gates Op amps and comparators Timers Constructing the solution Moving from circuit diagrams to stripboard layout Soldering Wiring
Barefoot Computing: Computational Thinking workshops
Designed to boost subject knowledge and confidence, this workshop will introduce you to computational thinking and help you get started with Barefoot. During the online interactive session, you will give some of Barefoot’s “unplugged” activities a try – proving you don’t need expensive kit to teach computing.
