Barefoot Computing: Early Years Workshop – OPEN TO ALL UK TEACHERS
Designed to boost subject knowledge and confidence, this workshop will introduce you to computational thinking in the Early Years and help you get started with Barefoot.
During the online interactive session, you will give some of Barefoot’s Early Years activities a try and see how computational thinking links with the Early Years framework. You’ll also be introduced to the Barefoot website and our fantastic range of resources designed especially for Early Years.
This workshop is targeted at practitioners and teachers with little experience and confidence in teaching computational thinking.
This session will provide the perfect introduction to computational thinking in the Early Years and support you to get started, providing reassurance, resources to use and next steps.
Our Early Years Workshops are all hosted online through either Microsoft Teams, Zoom or Google Meet. Workshops typically last around 60 minutes – with plenty of time to ask questions.
