Making my first attempt at the NOMA (National Online Maths Assessment) proved a challenge. Having only studied Maths until my fourth year at school, it has been four years since I opened a maths book.

Opening the practice paper I immediately had to call for the help of my fourteen year old brother, who took great pleasure in the fact that his big sister needed help.

Nevertheless swallowing my pride and asking for help proved to be the right choice, as I scored 85% on my first attempt.

I made a few mistakes, but I am determined to learn from them.
