Why a Teacher?

When I was young, my life used to be all about dance and I wanted to grow up to be a dancer. As I got older, I started to volunteer and help teach classes at my dance school. I started to really enjoy helping others master and overcome difficult challenges and began to think that I enjoyed it more than my own classes. I started to look into teaching in schools to explore this and after observing and interacting with my local primary school, I knew I wanted to continue.

I have a lot of experience with movement and acting. They were always my favourite classes at school. I hope that I can introduce more of this when I become a teacher and I would love to help the children have fun and learn during their school time. It has always been a great achievement seeing the children overcome something that they find hard.
