Why I want to be a teacher.

A career in teaching has always appealed to me throughout my education and childhood. During my time throughout secondary school I worked closely with children from going out on primary teaching placements to being a paired reader for first year children. I believe the skills required to provide children with an excellent education and to prepare them for their next steps, are vital. My aim is to make a positive impact on young children’s lives as they go through very important years of their life. Careers in teaching I can imagine to be very rewarding and fulfilling and I would like to experience this myself in my future career. A career in primary teaching involves developing a new generation and preparing children for their next step in life, making it very important that they receive the best possible education and care throughout their time with us. I want to be a teacher because I want to see the success of the children I will teach and watch them grow. I feel that this will make me thrive and push me further in my career as goals and aims will be being met for the children and myself. My main goal being to change the life of students.
