Yesterday, I attempted the NOMA (National Online Maths Assessment) for the first time. I completed the test in 35 minutes achieving a score of 94%. Although this is a good score, there were certain areas of the test where I could have done better. One area of weakness which was highlighted to me specifically was shapes. Perhaps this is because I have not covered this area of Maths for a few years and will therefore need to revise this particular topic in the near future due it’s importance at Primary School level.
When I take the NOMA again, I aim to achieve 100% but also to reduce the time it takes me to complete the test. The best way to achieve these goals is to revise and refresh some of the key concepts which arose in order to really understand what the question requires.
