Climate change, gender equality, health, social equity, and inclusion are issues that affect us all, impacting human well-being and economic stability. How to live a sustainable life affects – and connects – us all. On this five-week course, you’ll develop an informed personal response to these major challenges as you’re supported to take positive actions towards a sustainable future. This course runs from 4th October to 7th November 2021.
Additional course running parallel with COP26 Climate Conference
The course team will be running Learning for a Sustainable Future: Live at COP26, a two-week course from 1st to 14th November. This course will bring you news, events and some of the activities that happen as the UN COP26 Climate Conference unfolds. Enrolments for this course will open late September.

Making connections through Learning for Equity and Sustainability online course
Learning for Sustainability is an entitlement for learners and an underpinning theme in the GTCS Professional Standards. In the run up to the COP26 climate conference in Glasgow, join this fully funded, online facilitated CLPL which will support you to think about, plan for and implement Learning for Sustainability in your own practice and in your teaching context.
Offered by the University of Edinburgh and Learning for Sustainability Scotland, as part of the British Council FCDO Connecting Classrooms through Global Learning programme, the course lasts 6 weeks starting 29 October and involves participation in online discussions and activities in five course modules.
