We can take 72 children per session aged 3-5 years in our 3-5 room. The children can attend either a morning, afternoon or 2 and a half days session which is either:
8:00am – 12:45pm: Morning Session
1:15pm – 6:00pm: Afternoon Session
8:00am – 5:30pm: Full Day Session
Ratios within this room are 1 adult to 8 children.
We ensure children have access to the 8 curricular areas which are Health and Wellbeing, Literacy and English, Numeracy and Mathematics, Technologies, Social Studies, Religious and Moral Education, Sciences and Expressive Arts. This is embedded through the playroom and outdoors. Our areas within the 3-5 room are:
- Sand & Water
- Literacy
- Creative
- Snack
- Playdough Station
- Quiet rooms – Accessed for PATHS programme, TacPac, relaxation and small group work.
- Construction
- STEM
- Loose Parts play
- Outdoors
- Home corner
- Numeracy and Maths
