Shannon, Julie and Caitlin have recently attended training provided by Child Bereavement UK. The aims of this training were to develop an understanding of the impact of grief on children and young people’s physical and emotional health, including their learning. To gain an insight into children’s reactions to grief and how a school might respond to meet the needs of grieving children and families. To also explore a range of resources and support information to establish a bereavement toolkit, which is our little bags of love we have created (Little bags of love).
