Community Ambassadors at Granton Primary

Children’s Parliament are back in Granton Primary!

Graeme, Colin and Marion came in to work with P6 to begin working on our exciting new project called Community Ambassadors Programme in Edinburgh (CAPE).

In our first session we worked with our new CAPE Ambassadors to think about children’s needs at all the different stages of their lives: before birth; baby; toddler; 5 year old; 9 year old; and teenager.

We talked about how these needs are so important to us that almost every country in the world has agreed that they should be considered as children’s human rights and that every child is born with these rights and they can’t be taken away from us.

Thanks Ambassadors for a brilliant session. We saw lot’s of acts of kindness in the group today.

Our question to adults from our first session is; Why do you think children’s human rights are important?
