Pupil Voice

Please find attached a memo regarding pupil voice. If your child has any comments to make please click the link.

SENT ON BEHALF OF SAM NICHOLSON, EDUCATION OFFICER (INCLUSION AND ASN), EDUCATION SCOTLAND

Good afternoon Colleagues

You will hopefully be already aware of the ‘National Conversation’ that was launched back in September by the Cabinet secretary.

The relevant information is available here

A promise has been made to listen to the voice of all pupils to inform how education in Scotland evolves. To help pupils with a range of additional support needs (and those supporting them), CALL Scotland has worked collaboratively and produced guidance and resources to help with this and can be found on their site Our National Discussion (symbolsforall.org.uk) alongside links to where to submit views.

Please note that the final submission date is 5 Dec 2022.

Kind regards  Ι Le dùrachdan

School Trip- Wednesday June 22nd 2022

Dear Parents/ Carers
For tomorrows trip the weather looks as if it will be dry but cloudy so a light rain jacket may be a good idea. Sun screen would also be a good idea as would any anti histamine treatments if your child suffers from hay fever.
Children can wear their own clothes if they wish but for easy identification, I would ask they also wear the school tracksuit top or leavers hoodie.
There is a small gift shop and ice-cream / sweet shop available at Kelburn so the children can bring some spending money if you want them to but it is not necessary.
Packed lunches will be ordered for the children but feel free to provide your own if you would rather.
Those children in P6&7 who do not receive a free school meal will need to provide their own packed lunch.
The buses will be leaving as close to 9am as possible so please ensure the children get to school on time, preferably slightly early.
We will be returning to school in time for a 3pm dismissal
Regards
Brian Tracy Head Teacher.
