Building on the success of our first schools Hyrox/functional fitness competition (Nightmare Games 1.0) in November 2024—run as a pilot with mainly north-east secondary schools, where pairs of boys and girls competed in a fitness workout against other schools—we expanded our efforts this year. On 19th November 2025, we delivered a city-wide event for S4–S6 pupils, marking our second schools competition. This became the largest secondary school functional fitness event to date, with 280
