We are so proud of our S1 Project Based Learning classes this session. Their showcase last Friday was a fantastic event and a great way to show how they collaborated as teams to tackle their Big Question on Health and Wellbeing or Learning for Sustainability.

Today, two PBL teams are sending cheques for £100 to the UK Wild Otter Trust to help care for otters and to the WWF to help conserve snow leopards.

Zaryab and Abdullah made cookies with their classes and sold these to raise funds for the WWF. Louise, Emily and Leia made and sold otter badges along with otter stickers and raised money for the UK Wild Otter Trust.

Lots of fantastic research and learning along the way but really showing our KPSS Values too, Kindness especially.

We know these donations will be well used by both charities who have been in touch to say a huge thank you to the S1 pupils

KP’CCINO, Barista Class and Hospitality have been busy this term with collaboration events, cookies, latte art, many events and of course running their service every interval! We are loving our new beans from ‘Copper Black’ – a local trader!

We had a great night to kick start our Christmas Spirit last week with a lovely Fayre and a fabulous Christmas concert. Well Done again to all performers and thank you to all stall holders, including our Parent Partnership who made the Fayre a lovely success too!

Glasgow Kelvin College offer an early access for pupils in Glasgow schools who wish to apply for courses starting in August 2026.

Application guidance notes for schools

We are delighted to have a new team of S3-S6 SCQF Pupil Ambassadors in place for this session. 4 of our new SCQF Ambassadors went along to a training and networking event at St Paul’s High School, a fellow SCQF Gold school, to hear about some of the great work happening in other SCQF schools and get a chance to speak to other Ambassadors.

We are excited to see what our new team can do to help promote the SCQF framework with our young people, staff and parents/carers this session!
