Subway @ KPSS

Our Skills for Work class hosted a spectacular Subway style lunch for staff in the Food Technology department. Pupils prepared and served an array of fillings, toppings sides and drinks for staff to choose from and enjoy. This was a delightful occasion that allowed pupils to showcase their organisational, creativity and team working skills. During the event pupils took on different roles including greeting staff and interacting with customer, serving food, taking payment and ensuring the event ran smoothly. We are incredibly proud of how pupils interacted with staff, lead the event, created a lovely atmosphere and ensured the lunch was a success.

S3 Football Victory

Our S3 football team produced a stunning 9-2 victory over a formidable St Peter’s side in the Scottish Cup.

The game got off to a shaky start as St Peter’s took the lead within the first five minutes, putting us 1-0 down. To make matters worse, the weather was nothing short of dreadful, with torrential rain and strong winds creating challenging conditions for both teams. But if anything, the adversity only seemed to fuel our team’s determination.

By halftime, the team had turned the game on its head, and in the second half, they simply outclassed their opponents. The final whistle confirmed an emphatic 9-2 triumph, a scoreline that reflected not just our talent but also the unbreakable team spirit and hard work of every player on the pitch.

Some standout performances include Josh Irvine who was in sensational form scoring a stunning header at the back post. Colin Winkler was a constant threat in attack, weaving through defenders with skill and determination, while TJ Black was a rock in defence sweeping up any danger from the opposition.

This victory is a testament to the dedication and passion of our players. Congratulations to the entire team on—we couldn’t be prouder. Now, on to the next challenge! Let’s keep the momentum going and bring home the cup.

Well done, everyone!
