The Badger’s Pantry will be open again on Friday and we are handing over to you to allow you to get creative! Come along to the Pantry and collect 6 items. Using these 6 items and anything in your store cupboard at home (oil, butter, milk, eggs etc) what can you make? Looking forward to seeing our families working together to create some impressive dishes! We can’t wait to see your creations on Twitter or Showbie.

The Pantry is open 11-12pm and 115-215pm. Come along with your bag to choose your ingredients.

Remember to keep a 2m distance from others and wear a face covering.

World Book Day 2021

World Book Day is this Thursday, 4th March.

As always we will be celebrating our love of reading at Ibrox Primary School.

Children are welcome to come dressed as their favourite character from a book, or in their PJs or onesie ready to relax and read. Please note due to restrictions we can’t have any props or books from home.

Children in P4-P7 are welcome to join in from home and share their favourite books or costumes on Showbie. Children in P1-3 are also encouraged to post their favourite book on Showbie and teachers will share these in class.

Keep an eye on Twitter as staff will be posting Book Day info and activities. If you are tweeting a message please use #ibroxreads2021 so we can easily see all the amazing reading going on.

Children in Primary 1, Primary 2 and Primary 3 will be gifted their Bookbug/ Read Write Count bags to bring home on Thursday and Mrs Chalmers will be running parent information sessions to support the use of these in the shed, times to follow.

School staff will also be sharing their book recommendations on Thursday, watch out for further info.
