Halloween 2020!

Halloween Event  – Friday 30th October.

We know Halloween is looked forward to by so many of our children and families. Unfortunately, we will be unable to run our normal disco due to Covid restrictions. We have also had to issue some guidance around what is acceptable to wear as a costume. We hope that you understand and support the changes so we can all still enjoy Halloween. Our Parent Council will be setting up decorations in one of the sheds (outdoors) and all children will get a chance to visit these over the Thursday and Friday of Halloween week. They will also provide a packet of crisps for all children, if you do not wish your child to have these please contact the office.  All children can dress up on Friday 30th of October if they choose. Children are also welcome to wear non uniform or come in uniform as normal.

Ibrox Halloween Costume Guidelines

  1. Dress in clothes which your child can sit in and wear all day
  2. Not bring any props. (Masks will need to remain in their school bags when they’re in class)
  3. No fake blood or make up on hands, as this will make it difficult to hand wash and keep hands clean.
  4. Think about a costume that will be warm when outside. Eg if wearing a thin costume, wear it over every day clothes,
  5. Make sure you can fit a coat over your child’s costume as they will likely be outdoors all lunchtime wearing it.
  6. Non uniform can be worn by your child if they don’t want to dress up.
  7. We will have fun in the classes, but we can’t have a parade as currently we still can’t have assemblies or large gatherings.
