Meet the Teacher
Wednesday 2nd September
3.15-4.15pm – feel free to “drop in” between these times

You will have the chance to see your child’s classroom and meet their teacher.
You will also see the resources in the class and find out some more about what your child will be learning this term.
In the hall there will be a collection of books on display. These have been provided by The Children’s Book Project which we have been linked with through the Rangers Charity Foundation. The aim of the organisation is to promote in children a love of reading. Every child in the school will be gifted a book. These can be chosen at the Meet the Teacher event.

For those not at the event, they will be able to choose a book in school on Thursday.

Miss McGhee will be available to discuss any digital issues linked to ParentsPortal, ParentPay and Showbie.

Mrs Young will be sharing information about the RSHP (relationships, sexual health and parenthood) programme.
There will also be information about our school improvement priorities and the chance for us to gather views from you around these priorities.

We are looking forward to welcoming all our children back to Ibrox Primary tomorrow, Wednesday 12th August, at 9am!

Our P1 children will start at 9.30am and finish at 2.30pm.

We hope everyone has had a lovely summer and we can’t wait to see you all and get started on another fantastic year of Work, Learn and Play the Ibrox Way! 💙

Tie Day – Friday 12th June

On Friday 12th June, we will be celebrating Tie Day at Ibrox Primary School. Pupils are invited to come to school wearing rainbow colours as we celebrate the values of equality, inclusion, respect and kindness.

We look forward to a fun and colourful day that recognises and celebrates the diversity of our school community. 🌈

We’re delighted to share information about ApparelXchange CIC — a fantastic organisation helping families access affordable pre-loved school uniform while also reducing clothing waste.

Founded in 2018 by Izzie Eriksen, ApparelXchange was created to tackle the huge amount of waste generated from school uniforms and to support families within local communities.

We are excited to announce that we will be visited by Olympic Gold Medallist in Judo, Sarah Adlington, on Monday 1st June as part of the Great Athletes Programme!

This event is funded through family donations. If you would like to donate, your child has been sent home with a sponsor form which should be returned by Monday 1st June. Alternatively, donations can also be made online.

Please note that all children will participate in the event regardless of whether they have raised any money.
