At Ibrox Primary School French is taught as a second (or third/fourth) language for our children. This is in line with Bellahouston Academy and the Modern Foreign Language children will study in S1.

All children at Second Level (P5, P6 and P7) are taught an hour of French a week by either Mrs Chalmers or Mrs Thomson. This includes learning new vocabulary as well as learning about France, French Culture and other French speaking countries.

From session 2020-21 all pupils throughout the school will receive daily French input to develop understanding and confidence in basic greetings and vocabulary. Class teachers will be delivering this input to their own classes.
