Important Message From Miss Gillies (Head Teacher)

Dear Parents,

Please find below our newsletter for December/January. We have also attached a form for parents to complete today by 5pm if you think that you require childcare in the hub. Only  complete the form if you meet the keyworker criteria and if you have no other family members to provide childcare during this time. Following this we aim to contact you on 6th January with the outcome of your request, due to the tight time frames we have been given. The email for return is headteacher@hillington-pri.glasgow.sch.uk

Please remember that the school closes at 2.30pm today for the holidays. We hope that Santa is good to you all and we would like to wish you a safe and relaxing Christmas and happy new year 2021!

Grow the Grinch’s Heart

P7/6 used their knowledge of chemical reactions in order to “Grow the Grinch’s Heart”. Unfortunately a lot of their hearts on the balloon rubbed off but they were successful in creating a gas that blew the balloon up. Here is a snapshot of our experiment.
