ACHIEVING NURTURING KIND SAFE

Dyslexia Support for Home Learning

With the current situation of school closures, we at Hillington Primary understand that you will have concerns about supporting your child with Home Learning activities, especially if your child is dyslexic or going through the dyslexia assessment process. The most important advice that we can give is not to become stressed or worried about this. The activities shared for Home Learning are suitable for all learners.

The best support at home is to listen to your child, take breaks if they are becoming stressed or frustrated and learn what your child enjoys and/or is good at, and focus on that for much of the time away from school.

The link below for the British Dyslexia Association will take you to a section of their website with specific support for the current school closures.
