Learning for a Better Future
The Learning for a Better Future Professional Learning Programme is offered jointly with our sister Development Education Centres in Edinburgh (ScotDEC), Dundee (One World Centre), Inverness (Highland One World Centre) and Aberdeen (MDEC). The course enables both Primary and Secondary teachers to implement an action research project based on their own interests and the interests of their learners. It is a rare opportunity to become immersed in the study of Global Citizenship Education, challenging our assumptions and discovering a wide range of perspectives on the educational and political theory that informs how Scotland chooses to position Global Citizenship within the national education agenda.
