This page provides an up date on the development of Scotland’s first teaching and learning resource about the history of the partition of British India in 1947.

Aims of the resource will be to:

-raise awareness and knowledge of this hugely influential part of British and South Asian history

-increase representation of South Asian experiences in Scotland’s curriculum

-encourage practitioners to decolonise their teaching about British Empire and South Asian history.
