MICROSOFT ACADEMY PROVIDES GREAT OPPORTUNITIES FOR PUPILS!
Kieran is a most talented young man when it comes to using all software packages on computers.
He has recently passed Specialist Exams in Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Access, and in addition has successfully passed Expert Exams in Word and Excel.
He has therefore been accredited with the title of Microsoft Office Specialist Master, and is the first ever pupil to achieve this in Bellahouston Academy.
Well done Kieran! A terrific result!
We are delighted that Ken Barclay, the Corporate Head of the Royal Bank of Scotland came to join us once more to support young people in Business Management courses.
His talk was very interesting and engaging and pupils benefitted hugely from this, gaining a real insight into working for a business at the very highest level.
Thanks so much to Ken for giving up his valuable time to help support our pupils!
We are excited to announce that in collaboration with the Faculty of Performing Arts, the Faculty of Technologies will be taking some of our pupils to the fantastic Celtic Connections festival in January.
The concert will take place in the main auditorium of the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall.
There will be performances by Jason Singh, neXo and the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland Juniors.
Sounds like this will be an amazing opportunity for our young people to enjoy a terrific performance opportunity!
