Bellahouston Academy’s Business Education teachers work with the staff at Glendale Primary during their Financial Education week to enable our young people to learn more about finances as well as helping them get to know the staff at Bellahouston Academy.

Pupils have been involved in organising the finances for:

A Wedding

A trip to Glasgow for the Commonwealth Games

Organising a trip round Scotland

Planning the Prom

Pupils have learned about budgeting, making choices, sources of finance and about the different kinds of bank accounts that are available to help people save, as well as the benefits of joining the Credit Union when they come to Bellahouston Academy.
