P4 have gone Down Under!

We went on a school trip to Australia…. well sort of! We went on a 3D tour of the Great Barrier Reef and got some fantastic ideas for our artwork! It was so much fun. We saw rays, sharks, turtles and lots of very colourful fish! We looked at the colours and shapes of different reef fish and coral. We used what we saw to paint these colourful pictures:  

P4 are going running

   We were running up and down the football pitch. It was good fun. We ran half a mile!! Here are  some photos of us at the start:   Here we are speeding round the playground in the sun:   Here we are after our run looking VERY hot!!

Fundraising Friday

On Friday 16th September we will be taking part in “Fundraising Friday”. All our children will be participating in our Fun Run which will take place in our playground. Look out tortoises – Primary 4 are ready!!

Our class have been enjoying Esio Trot by Roald Dahl. We had a challenge to design and make a tortoise catcher like Mr Hoppy. Thanks to amazing team work and sharing, we came up with some brilliant designs that could really pick things up  around our classroom! Name Labels

Just a reminder to all parents and carers. Please make sure that all pupils clothing and belongings are clearly labelled with their name and class. We have already had some items found without names.  It is hard to trace their owners without a name label. Thank you for your continued support.
