This week it was Balornock’s health week. P5 did table tennis and bowls. We also did a 2k fun run in the park. Written by Dharryl,Brooke and Chloe.
We were learning symmetry. Group 1 went first and then group 2. Group 2 had to copy the pattern that group 1 made. It was easy when we worked together. We’re getting the hang of symmetry now. Written by Henry, Jenna & Jamie.
Here are all the bottle tops we collected: We made beautiful pictures – we made a butterfly and 2 flowers. They’re going in a garden at Wallacewell. We had fun with the very nice artists Alwyn and Helen from CLAASH.

We went swimming at Maryhill pool. We met our teacher called Miss McGreish. Group 1 got fabulous certificates and had an amazing time. Group 2 have just started swimming and learnt all the safety rules. We can’t wait to go back!
We used air to power all the different inventions we built – a hover craft, balloon rockets, rocket/butterfly/tiger launchers and straw airplanes!! We raced them to see which went the furthest. Happy holidays from p5 & Mrs Stuart.
We just finished our Mile-a-thon with the 2k fun run in Springburn Park. We added it all up and worked out that we’ve run 500 miles as a class this year!! We’re a bit out of puff now! Look at our super certificates.
