Marie Curie
Last term our school held a fundraising event to raise money for the Marie Curie Charity. The whole school took part in a Daffodil Tea, performing songs and poems to our parents, carers and local community members. They sat back and watched our performances whilst enjoying a range of delicious cakes with a tea or coffee.
This event was a real success! Afterwards, some of our senior pupils had the opportunity to visit the Marie Curie hospice to hand over a check to the staff. Our pupils were also delighted when they got the chance to have a look around. They felt extremely proud handing over the check too – as you can see below!
