Good morning p7! I hope you have enjoyed the sunshine over the last couple of days. Today’s task are maths and an art activity.
Maths
Todays task focuses on fractions. The first task involves identifying what fraction of a shape is coloured and the second task involves you trying to correct a equivalent fractions worksheet. You will be marking it as if you are the teacher. You will have to correctly identify which fractions are equivalent and which ones are not. Have a go and let me know how you get on👍
Art
- Today’s art task is based on pattern and texture. Try this task out and send me a picture of your masterpiece.

The numerator and denominator must be multiplied by the same number. Have they been multiplied by the same number. For example if you times both of them by the same number , can you then simplify the new fraction to make it the same as the fraction you started with? If you can simply the fraction to get the original fraction then it is an equivalent fraction.
