Weekly Evaluation

This has been a short but busy week.

We have been revising and extending our knowledge of time and we are getting used to converting 12-hour time into 24-hour time. We are also continuing to revise our understanding of equivalent fractions and data handling.

We have also been completing a recount all about the film ‘Aladdin’. We have been using the reading strategy of summarising to explain the storyline and we have begun character analysis of some of our favourite characters.

We have also been learning more about sound as part of our IDL project and we have been using our creative flair to make our own silent movies, but you’ll have to wait another couple of weeks to find out more about these…!

Happy Halloween, everyone! This has been a spookily scarily week where we have done lots of great things.

To prepare for Halloween we drew some cartoon bats. We also had the Halloween Disco that was hosted by the Parent Council. Some photos of our outfits are included in this post.

Yesterday we decorated our classroom and had a Halloween party. Then we went to the Assembly Hall where we showed off our amazing costumes.
