I’d like to wish the Muslim Community of St Albert’s Primary School a very happy Ramadan Kareem.

I have learnt some facts about Ramadan
1. The beginning of Ramadan can move 11-12 days a year.
2. In Muslim countries they make the working day shorter to make the fast easier for people.
3. Ramadan is known as the month of the Quran.
4. If you can’t fast you can feed a poor person instead.
5. Fasting can clean the inside of your body. This is called detox.
6. There is a special night prayer in Ramadan it is called Taraweeh.
7. You get extra rewards from God for doing good deeds in Ramadan.
