We had an amazing morning today! We took at trip to the Riverside museum.
Here are some of the things Primary 2 learned on their trip.
Lulu – We went to the Riverside Museum to find different types of transport.
Ajwa- We got to draw and make a ship.
Rida – We made a boat.
Inayah – We looked at different types of boats.
Ajwa and Deen – ThereĀ are battle boats.
Arham – War ships with guns and cannons.
Abdulhadi – They have anchors.
Innayah – There are passenger boats.
Ajwa – They take people on holiday to different countries.
Abdulhadi – They all have propellers.
M Abdullah – The propellers push the boat.
Amer – We had lots of fun.
We had an amazing master class all about ships and the different types that sail in the water.
We were given a task to find different parts of the boat from the models.
We then used the boats on display to help us draw our own design.
We then got to try on the different uniforms that people would wear when working in the ship yards.
We even got a chance to practice using our knowledge of how to cross the road safely.
We then got to use our designs to try and build our own ships.
Thank you so much to the Riverside Museum for an amazing experience.
Thank you to the parent helpers to came along today, and thank you to Mrs Seery-Mylet who also joined us on our trip.
Have a good week
Miss Graham
