More reading information! 📚
Bug Club Points

You also have your Bug Club book to be reading and the online questions to complete in the book. Your paper comprehension booklet is in your new pack which will hopefully be delivered soon.

Remember you get a point if you read the whole book online and answer all the bug questions and get another point if you complete your paper comprehension booklet that is in your pack, so lots of points up for grabs!

Ickabog

Here is an extra thing to look at that may be of interest to you Harry Potter fans!

On Tuesday this week, JK Rowling, the author of Harry Potter, started releasing chapters of a fantastic new children’s book she will release later this year.

You cannot buy the book yet but she is letting everyone have a sneak peek for free by releasing chapters each day on this website!

https://www.theickabog.com/home/

This is a more challenging book than some of you would read by yourselves but you can ask an adult to read it to you or if you have an iPad you can highlight the text and get it to read the words to you.

JK Rowling is asking children to illustrate her book and draw pictures of what they think the Ickabog looks like. Lots of you are great at drawing so maybe after reading the chapters of Ickabog so far (chapter 2 is the best for details on the Ickabog) you could have a go at drawing what you think it looks like 🙂

Loads of things you can be doing today, can’t wait to see what you choose to get up to and see your photos this afternoon! Have a super Thursday 🙂

Day 34 work

Aiyub completed a 4 square Sudoku

Subhan worked on a 4 square and challenged himself with a 6 square Sudoku and completed a fantastic amount of money addition sums

Hector created a Harry Potter character alphabet, was watching the BT man do some repairs and found a teeny tiny spider outside 🙂
