Thank you, as always, to those of you who sent me photos today of what you did at the weekend and your learning from today 🙂
Coins challenge
Lots of you said you enjoyed hunting for the coins to make the Royal Shield of Arms which is great 🙂 Here is what you all found –
Kit had 3 in his house
Mrs Crosbie took part in the challenge and found them all!
Subhan also had all the coins in his house
 Â
Mariam enjoyed looking for all the coins and had them all in her house too
Hector found a full set and then a few more coins with the different parts of the shield of arms
Your weekend photos
Hector enjoyed the sunshine spending lots of time outside, tidied up the back lane and left a chalk drawing outside his Class 1 friend Khadija’s houseÂ
Kit read a book at the park and look what book it was! Miss Hewitt actually read this book in the holiday as had bought it to be one of our class novels, there are so many good Flat Stanley stories 🙂
Your work
Ivo has been doing some super music learning with his new harmoinca and video called me today to show me his great work 🙂 Here are some photos and videos of him with his new instrument and also working on some drawing, well done Ivo!
Kit did some of his phonics wordsearch today and played some money snap
Subhan worked very hard today and completed all of his new reading comprehension booklet (WOW!), did some handwriting of the letter m/M, wrote his weekend news, finished one of his new money worksheets and did some subtraction problems
Aiyub was working on some of his money challenge problems as well as some of his Kumon maths homework and was revising a bit of space work in one of the crosswords he asked for in his new pack of work
Hector did some counting with lots of different coins today and learned how to make beans on toastÂ
Monday Assembly video
If you haven’t seen on the school Twitter page Mr Stewart has made an assembly video. This will be posted on Twitter every Monday so be sure to look out for it. It was not posted before I did your morning blog so I am sharing just now instead.
Every week a star of the week will be chosen from the work on the blogs, Mr Stewart chooses for the upper school and Mr Keddilty for the lower school. If you are chosen as the star of the week you will get a point on the chart too!
This week I was so proud that it was a pupil from Class 2 who was chosen for the upper school 🙂 Watch the video to find out who it was…
