Our learning 15.11.18

Another busy week in Class 2. We have had more visits in class from our Serbian guests and there was an assembly to celebrate their 2 weeks on Friday. Friday was also our mass to celebrate St Albert The Great, who our school is named after.

Here are some of the things we have been learning –

  • learning about the hours within a day and the seasons in a year linked to the movement of planet earth
  • ordering months
  • matching months to seasons
  • exploring more connectives in writing
  • space quiz using our knowledge so far
  • researching using the internet and books
  • using contents and index pages to find information
  • naming the planets in order
  • skipping and burpees in P.E
  • summarising our stories in our reading books
  • answering comprehension questions
  • the diagraph ‘th’ in phonics
  • discussing the feeling guilty in PATHS
  • beginning work on telling the time
