St Leonard’s Primary School was built in 1902.

This session at St. Leonard’s Primary we have six primary classes and our nursery currently has space for 35 three and four year olds.  Our school building is traditional in its form and layout with lots of interesting features and character.  Our nursery class are located in a separate building within the school grounds, which includes its own outdoor learning space.  Our primary 6 and primary 7 classes are located in E block, a separate building to the south of our main school building which includes our kitchen, dining and P.E. hall.  We are fortunate to have our own Astro pitch within our playground, however being so close to Dunfermline High School we also make use of some of the outdoor P.E. facilities through our close working partnership.
Our aim is to create a positive ethos for learning which is responsive to our learners’ needs and offers a safe, happy, welcoming, caring and stimulating environment in which to learn and play.
We endeavour to work in partnership with families, services and the community to provide the highest possible standard of education for all pupils while equipping them with skills for life, learning and work.

We are pleased to meet with parents/carers who wish to discuss any aspect of our school.
