Hello and welcome back! We have written a postcard about our holidays and drew a picture on the front. We came up with the Steps to Success, including openers, connectives, adjectives, adverbs and alliteration!

In Numeracy, we learnt about multiplication and division number families and started some learning on division with remainders.

In Art, we have started a piece of art by drawing and decorating a vase or jug for tulips to go in next week.

In PE, we played Scatter Rounders which was fun and everyone played really fairly.

Our new topic is Maps and Our Local Area. This week we learnt that maps need a key to show what the symbols are representing on the map. We created our own Treasure Islands with a key.

The RNLI came to talk to us about water safety. We learnt about the different flags and what they mean, how to get help and how to ‘float for life’.

In Literacy, we learnt about vowels and when to use a and an in a sentence.
