We will be learning to organise our writing by using a structured planning page to support. SPELLING & PHONICS: We will continue to learn new spelling rules and patterns each week which will help us spell more difficult words. We will be learning specialist words linked to our topic and will be learning to check and edit our writing appropriately. READING: We will be starting our new class novel ‘The Nowhere Emporium’ and we will be using this book as a stimulus for close reading tasks. We will be investigating story structure, characterisation, setting, writers’ themes and style. We will answer and create our own literal and inferential questions. We will continue to develop our note taking skills of non-fiction texts on Europe as we work towards our Euroquiz.
