The FACT team 2026/27
The FACT team are a group of pupils from the primary 6 classes and primary seven classes.
They were formally known as Junior Road Safety Officers but this was changed to Frankie’s Active Campaigners Team.
Frankie is Fife Council’s School Travel Plan Mascot. They meet regularly with Mr Lace and Miss Seath. They organise various projects throughout the year including: The Big Walk and Wheel and the Walk to School Week.
They encourage pupils to stay active when travelling to school by walking, cycling or scooting. The team also encourage safety around the school, for example, in and around the car park.
This year they will be working on the Fair Isle School Travel Plan. This will be emailed to every parent/carer. The aim will be to minimise traffic congestion around the school.
The FACT team often talk to the rest of the school, about events that are happening, in individual classes and at Assemblies.

Junior Lighthouse Team
Our JLT have representatives from P1 to P7. We meet regularly to discuss the school. Each session we create a child friendly school improvement plan. We are all leaders.
Last session they continued to roll out the meta skills and circle framework .
Previously we were key speakers at a conference in Glasgow.
