About the Rights Respecting Schools Award – UNICEF UK

We are a Rights Respecting School and are proud to have been accredited with a Silver Award.

Our pupil group work runs alongside our ongoing work on the UNCRC and Rights Respecting Schools. Throughout our school we have opportunities for Pupil Voice.

We have four pupil groups:

• Pupil Council
• Social Committee
• Eco Reps
• Playground Leaders

Our pupil groups have helped to organise and run school discos, recycling challenges, valentines activities and a visit to local care home.

All pupils have the opportunity to choose their Pupil Group representatives at the beginning of the school year.
