Kitbag

Kitbag is a resource that is currently being used in many Fife schools and beyond to support pupils in developing their emotional wellbeing.  Aberdour Primary was awarded Kitbag School Status in June 2020.

Kitbag, designed by The International Futures Forum, contains activities “to encourage reflection, calm states of mind, creativity, self-help, dialogue, hope and a higher purpose in life.”  Working with Kitbag, children go at their own pace and are encouraged to work on many levels – physical, emotional, cognitive and behavioural.  Regular use helps children become better able to deal with the challenges of everyday life.

Individual or small group sessions, of approximately 20 – 30 minutes once a week, will be led by our Pupil Support Assistants in a relaxed informal setting.
