This is an example of a Classical Piano Sonata. Remember a Sonata can be for solo piano OR one instrument and piano (e.g. Clarinet and Piano).

String Quartets (Violin  1, Violin 2, Viola + Cello) are an example of Chamber Music – the music written for a small group of instruments to be performed in a large drawing room or small hall.
