The Educational Psychology Service provides training. This is available to book through CPD Manager for Falkirk staff. Training is provided aimed at four levels of competence, skill and knowledge. Workers and their line manager or validator, identify which area and level is suitable for the individual’s learning and development. The 4 levels are:
1. Informed Practice – General/awareness level
2. Skilled Practice – addressing areas for core practice
3. Enhanced Practice – extending knowledge and skills in areas in more advanced ways or for more specialist roles
4. Expert Practice OR Leadership/management – specialist knowledge and skills for specific job roles, or overview training for managers and leaders.
We also offer online modules and courses. Please speak to your link Educational Psychologist about school or cluster level training.
