P7 went to Tesco’s to see what kind of fruit and veg was from the UK, for our one planet picnic .We split the class, one half looked at the fruit the other half did the veg. It was very fun. We recorded where the fruit and veg came from. Lots of it comes from other countries but we were only interested in local, Scottish produce.
On Tuesday 18th September 2012 P7 went to the Falkirk Stadium to learn about racism . We went to 3 different workshops. They were really interesting and we learned lots about being kind to people. At the end we got a goodie bag and it had a poster in it and we got an autograph from three football players. We also had a raffle and Chloe got a free Show Racism the Red Card T-shirt. Sophie and Jack had their picture taken for the Falkirk Herald!
Yesterday the provost came to our school to open the inside outside eco pod and our one planet picnic. Our one planet picnic was all about local, seasonal and ethically produced foods. High school pupil Jordan Montgomery came and piped us in with his bag pipes, some people spoke and the provost cut the ribbon. Miss MacAulay and a few pupils put the sign on the gate. There was a BBQ for the parents, we got all different kind of fruit foods and they were all yummy! The rain came on and we got soaked and so did all the mats that we sat on and the tables.
Our band is called the legends we have four band members there are called Alister Emma, Abbie, and Steven. Our topic this term is Guitar Hero we really enjoy this topic and sometimes if we’re lucky we get a game of Guitar Hero. We do tours with our group we have done European tour and we are working on a world tour with Google earth it is fun. We rock the class we’re AWESOME.
P7 have been doing guitar hero because it links with our topic, jobs and careers. We have made our band managers and we have signed a band contract. We have played the guitar hero game. We made the band names and my band is called Syndicate. Our band manger is called Jamie and we had to research a new instrument for our band. We did a keyboard. Our first gig is at O2 Arena at 10 o’clock to 7 o’clock in the morning, we hope you enjoy it. It’s not real! by Kyle p7
There are three people in OverKill. Kyra-nerrice / Jason / Kieran/. Kyra-nerrice is the singer/ Kieran is the guitarist/ Jason is the drummer. Our band is a hard core band and it is a brilliant band to be in.
