Brown Trout Presentation!

On Monday 30th April 5 members of P5N went to talk about the trout that we were looking after. The 5 members were Nicole, Shakira, Grant, Blair and Kellie. We went to camelon education centre to do the presentation.  we had to do a presentation and there were loads of goodies to eat. We all got a pencil case each and the girls got  2 pencils and a pen and the boys got a glue stick. It was fun and after a few presentations we got to eat droughts and loads of sweets and Pepsi. I hope they keep on doing it because it is a opportunity to look after brown trout. We also got a certificate.

Tree planting

On Monday 18th March the whole school planted trees in the school grounds. The trees are covering half of the school grounds . There were lots of different kinds of trees like oak, hawthorn, birch, hazel and rowan.  There were 420 trees. We had to space them 2 metres apart from each other.  When we were finished planting the trees we got free hats to keep. The nursery, p1, p2, p3, p4, p5n, p5mac and p7 were planting trees. But p6 didn’t because they were doing Max in the Middle.  These trees were for The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations and we got them from The Woodland Trust.
