Pupil Council Update
This is the last week of the third term for our committee to be working on the Pupil Council. This week we are working on:
- A garden rota
- A new reading display for our library
- Updating the school website
- Trying to get new blinds for our classrooms
- Ideas for the Sports Scotland Award – we are trying to get our Silver or Gold award this year

Macmillan Cancer Support Charity
Last year we had a coffee morning in the community hall to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support, we raised £412.36. This is a photo of us handing over the cheque to the charity last week.
Rowing Competition
This week we took part in a rowing machine competition at the Sports Centre. Our school only had 4 people competing. The best part was that we came 2nd in the whole competition. Well done rowers Doneil, Joanne, Robbie and Lois!
Sumdog Competition
This week we have all been taking part in the Western Isles Sumdog competition www.sumdog.com.
The competition ends today – keep playing online!
World Book Day at Sgoil Bhreascleit 01/03/18
We had a busy day for World Book Day, some of us were dressed as our favourite character from a book.

World Book Day 1st March 2018
WORLD BOOK DAY Thursday 1st March 2018
World Book Day takes place on Thursday 1st March 2018, and we would like to invite you to take part this year.
Nurseries, schools and libraries across the UK celebrate World Book Day with a huge range of events and activities. Sgoil Bhreascleit Pupil Council will be organising some activities on World Book Day on Thursday 1st of March:
- Dress up as your favourite character from a book
- Bring your favourite book to school
- World Book Day assembly
